1. What time did you get up this morning? Get up as in actually out of bed, right? Cos I lazed about for a while. But I caught the second episode of Crossing Jordan on A&E, so I was definitely "up" up before 10.

2. Diamonds or pearls? I'm pretty "meh" on both, really. Can't I have something with more colour in it?

3. What was the last movie you saw? Cloverfield. I was the only person in the theatre, and I was sooooooo sick by the end of it.

4. Where is the most beautiful place you've ever been? Oh, god. I have no idea where it is, but there is this GORGEOUS waterfall I went to once in junior high and the image of it has stayed with me since then. One day I will find it again. A close runner-up would be Kejimkujik National Park. Especially at night. (Although it's not so fun when you're still canoeing out to your island after nightfall. And your flashlights suck. And you can't tell which island is yours. And you end up making camp on a patch of moss, only to discover the next morning that you were maybe a two minute walk from the actual campsite. It's was still right pretty though.)

5. What do you usually have for breakfast? Well, this isn't usual, but the other day I made scrambled eggs. And they didn't burn, or stick to the pot, or taste funny or anything! For me, this is quite an accomplishment.

6. What is your middle name? Marie and Elizabeth

7. What food do you dislike? Onions are the big one, and with everything else it's mostly the texture that I don't like.

8. What is your favorite CD? I don't do "favourites" so much, but probably the ones I've listened to the most recently are: Death Cab For Cutie's Plans, Keren Ann's La Disparation, and Regina Spektor's Begin To Hope.

9. What kind of car do you drive? Strictly a pedestrian, m'self.

10. Favorite sandwich? BLT (especially from Tim's), or clubhouse if I'm at a restaurant.

11. What characteristics do you despise? Arrogance, selfishness, when people are mean to others just cause.

12. Favorite item of clothing? The pink sweater I am currently wearing. I don't wear a lot of pink, but it's just so comfy!

13. If you could go anywhere in the world for a vacation, where would you go? Ireland. And my friend Lola* and I will be going this summer!

14. What color is your bathroom? Um, white, I think. With pretty flower tiles over the bathtub.

15. Favorite brand of clothing? I don't go for brands when I shop. Whatever fits, feels good, and looks good (in that order).

16. Where would you retire? I can't really picture living anywhere but Halifax. It Home to me, nowhere else would be.

17. What was your most memorable birthday? Most of my birthdays during and since high school have been really good, since my friends and I plan really weird things to do for all of our birthdays, like going on a treasure hunt all over the city, solving various riddles in order to find my presents; re-enacting a greek legend on Citadel Hill and the surrounding area; and being blindfolded and led around town and onto a bus out to Herring Cove, through the woods to where my friends had set up a picnic. I don't think I could choose a most memorable.

18. Favorite sport to watch? The only sport I've ever watched (on tv or otherwise) is hockey.

19. Furthest place you are sending this? Australia.

20. Who do you expect to repost this? I'm usually on the tail-end of memes, so probably no one.

22. Favorite saying? I am currently fond of repeating "we've got to look Death in the face and say 'whatever, man!'" Oh, Hurley. You crack me up.

23. When is your birthday? May 19th.

24. Are you a morning person or a night person? Can you be a mid-afternoon person?

25. What is your shoe size? 7W, according to my sneakers

26. Pets? My cat, Loki.

27. What did you want to be when you were little? An actor.

28. What are you today? Um. A slacker, mostly. I finished my BA in Anthropology almost a year ago, and now I'm trying to decide between Library Sciences and Forensics.

29. What is your favorite candy? I'm partial to Kit-Kats, and anything that combines chocolate and nuts.

30. What is your favorite flower? Heather, of course!

31. What is a day on the calendar you are looking forward to? February 29th-ish, when my friend Saurus* will be returning home for a whole week!

32. What are you listening to right now? Noir Silence - L'ange Perdu. One the playlist of a mix I made for my friend Miami*.

33. What was the last thing you ate? Peanut butter on a spoon. And it was good.

34. Do you wish on stars? Not really anymore. Did when I was a kid.

35. Do you believe in Angels? I'd like to.

36. If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Probably forest green.

37. Pet peeves? People who play their music loudly enough that I can hear them several seats over, even though they have headphones on. When groups of people hog the sidewalk cos they can't be bothered to walk single file for all of five fucking seconds so that people coming the other way don't have to walk in the mud.

38. Favorite Television show? Again with the favourites, but if I have to... Currently airing: I'd say Avatar: The Last Airbender. All time: X-Files or Firefly.

39. Last person you spoke to on the phone? Saurus called me from Fredericton! I'm still very happy about this.

40. Do you like the person who sent this to you? But of course! She's lovely.

41. Favorite soft drink? Coke, or A&W Root Beer.

42. Favorite restaurant? Gah stop making me choose favourites! Actually, this one's pretty easy: Mexico Lindo's, a little place that sells very reasonably priced and very very good Mexican food and is run by a Mexican woman and her Newfie husband.

43. Hair Color? Brown, kinda wavy.

44. Siblings? One older brother, one younger. I also have a younger cousin I think of almost like a sister.

46. What was your favorite toy as a child? My teddy bear Furry, who is still on my bed (okay technically he's in the space between my bed and the wall at the moment).

47. Summer or Winter? I love winter, but I definitely love summer more.

48. Hugs or kisses? Hugs. No contest.

49. Chocolate or vanilla? Chocolate is more likely, but it depends on what I'm feeling like.

50. Do you want your friends to repost this? Sure!

51. When was the last time you cried? When my grampy died, a few days before Christmas.

52. What is under your bed? Whatever Loki has dragged under there. She is far too well-named.

53. Who is the friend you've had longest? Depends. I met Saurus first, in primary (what non-Maritimers apparently call kindergarten) but I changed schools after grade three and didn't see her again till junior high. I met Miami at my new school in grade four.

54. What did you do last night for dinner? Microwave dinner, unfortunately. I need to buy groceries. And someone to cook them for me.

55. Favorite smell? The ocean.

57. How many keys on your key ring? Okay... key card to get into my apartment building, my front door, laundry room/garbage room, mailbox, mom's place, and my aunt's makes six.

58. How many years at your current job? I started last October.

59. Favorite day of the week? For some reason, I alway pick Wednesday for this. I guess I just like Odin?

60. How many towns have you lived in? Just the one, unless you count my first six months when we lived across the harbour in Dartmouth... which is now technically part of Halifax, so I guess you don't count it? And I spent a month in Rome for school-related activities, but I had an apartment and everything.

61. Do you make friends easily? Not really. I'm pretty shy.

62. How many folks will read this? I've no idea. Probably not a lot.

63. Are you happy? There's snow outside, I'm warm and I have a kitten. I'd say I'm pretty good.
